The Sisal Industry was King and it made many men very rich and from their wealth they built large haciendas and grand mansions. San Jose Cholul and Santa Rosa Hacienda have been meticulously restored to their original handsome appearance. Flamingos flock to the Celestun Sanctuary for a peaceful environment.
